1. What this is

PickACut creates AI-generated preview images of hairstyles, hair colors and tattoo designs from a photo you upload. Previews are approximations for entertainment and planning. They are not a promise of how a haircut, color or tattoo will actually look, and they are not professional advice. Always talk to a licensed barber, colorist or tattoo artist.

2. This is a free test

PickACut is an early free test. It may change, be limited or be switched off at any time without notice. Free previews are limited per visitor and per day. Nothing is sold and nothing can be paid for on this site right now. The “Unlock more tries” button does not charge anyone; it only records an anonymous click and lets you optionally leave an email to be told if unlocking ever opens. If paid features are added later, prices and billing terms will be shown before you pay and these terms will be updated.

3. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. The site asks you to confirm this before you can upload a photo; this is a self-declaration and we do not verify age. Only upload photos of yourself, or of an adult (18+) who has clearly agreed. Do not upload photos of children or of anyone without their permission.

4. Where it is available

Photo features are not offered in some places (currently Illinois, the European Union/EEA and the United Kingdom). We use location hints sent by our hosting network to decide this. The hints are not always accurate, and using a VPN or similar tool to get around this is not allowed.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload or request nude, sexual, violent, hateful, illegal or deceptive content, and do not use the service to harass or impersonate anyone or to create misleading images of real people. We run only basic automated checks on text you type (a keyword list) and none on images, so we may block requests, remove content and refuse service at any time.

6. Your photos

You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to process them, including sending them to the third-party AI image provider (currently fal.ai), only to create your preview. Our own copies of your photo and result are deleted automatically after 24 hours, or sooner if you press “Delete now” or report the result. We cannot delete copies the provider may hold under its own rules; see the Privacy Policy.

7. Sharing

If you turn on link or QR sharing for a stylist card, anyone with the link can view the preview image (never your original photo) until it is deleted.

8. No warranty; limits of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a preview (for example a haircut, hair dye or tattoo). These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If you have a problem with the service, email us and we will try to fix it.

9. Reporting

To report a problem or ask for removal, use Report a problem. Reported results are removed from our server immediately.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new version.
